A BIG Thank You to Scotiabank!
Earlier this year (May 5th to be exact) the Wade Moffatt Memorial Gala held it’s second annual event with CMHA as the beneficiary of funds raised at the event. The night was a blast, and though we’re a couple month after, continues to raise funds for CMHA’s various programs. One of the gracious sponsors of the event was Scotiabank. Scotiabank volunteered to help sell our WestJet Raffle and 50/50 tickets, as well as helping with the Gala’s silent auction. Part of Scotiabank’s offer was to match the funds raised by these activities and their volunteers.
Well, just this week Maureen Kayter the District Advisor for Scotiabank, Regina CBC and Main Branch graciously visited our head office to drop off a very generous $5,000 donation from Scotiabank! Needless to say everyone here at CMHA is humbled by Scotiabank’s generosity and we thank them wholeheartedly. This is an amazing donation and we are very thankful for the staff’s hard work at the Wade Moffatt Gala and this wonderful donation. CMHA Sask. is proud to work with this great organization and looks forward to continued projects in the near future. Thanks Scotiabank 😀

A Slight Slow Down in August…
Finally, just as a quick PSA our social media coordinator will be taking a little time off (August 3rd to the 20th) and for half of August we might be slowing down a little bit on posting. This is just a temporary break. CMHA will be returning to business as usual August 21st, but If you notice we’re posting a little less, this would be why.
As always have a wonderful rest of the day, thanks for stopping in. Check out the couple links we’ve listed above and if you haven’t already started following us on Facebook and Twitter make sure you add us to your list of people. We’ve got all sorts of goodies getting posted daily and we do our best to make sure any of the Mental Health events happening around Saskatchewan get a mention.
See ya next time!
