Welcome to the Saskatchewan Canadian Mental Health Association’s 2nd annual, province wide, Cash Calendar Artwork and Poetry call!
The 2018 Cash Calendar, in celebration of CMHA’s 100 year anniversary, ushered in our first ever province wide art call. We received scores of beautiful artwork from people all around Saskatchewan. In fact, we loved your submissions so much we wanted to make our calendar’s art call an annual province wide event! Artists, photographers, poets, & craftspeople of all kinds interested in showcasing their work are once again encouraged to submit up to 3 entries for the 2019 Cash Calendar. From all the entries, a minimum of 13 pieces (12 calendar months, plus 1 cover image) will be selected for the final calendar print.
Anyone is eligible to enter and all forms of art are welcome! Our only stipulation is that your entry MUST have a relationship to your mental well-being. CMHA Saskatchewan wants to know “What Supports Your Mental Health”, painting, sculpture, poems, or even dance? No need to be a professional, just come up with a fun, creative way to showcase how you help keep your mental health balanced.
There are just a few requirements you need to include with your submissions:
- A high resolution (300 dpi), approximately 11″ wide by 8.5″ high – PDF, JPEG, TIFF, or PNG of your submission
- Poems are to be submitted as a word doc.
- Please send your submission in a well packed case that will protect your artwork
(This should be something we can re-use when the contest is over, so we can get your artwork back to you)
All Submission Must Include
- A short description of how your submission helps keep your Mental Health positive and strong (Please keep descriptions to 2 or 3 sentences only)
- Your name, age, and city (This will be your acknowledgment in the calendar)
- Your email address & phone number (Easiest way to contact you)
- Your Instagram handle (Ex. @JoePublicSubmission) or Website address (If we feature your artwork on our Social Media, this information will be shared so you can get recognition)
** Please note – If you don’t want your Instagram or Website info shared please state that in your information. **
** Maximum 3 submissions per person **
All entries must be submitted to:

The CMHA Saskatchewan Cash Calendar has run for 29 years! In that time, the amazing people of our great province have supported this pivotal fundraiser, helping CMHA to provide important mental health services, support, and advocacy for people living with mental health conditions in Saskatchewan. We are fortunate and grateful to everyone who has purchased, participated, and promoted the Cash Calendar over that time. We’ve been privileged to be able to give back to calendar supporters with a daily prize draw for every day in the calendar year!
We would also like to note that ALL PROCEEDS from the CMHA Saskatchewan Cash Calendar Fundraiser are used solely in Saskatchewan, for Saskatchewan mental health programs.

We hope that this call for artwork inspires you to continue supporting CMHA Saskatchewan`s great work, and gives everyone in our province a chance to share his or her mental health story. Good luck and get creating!
